By plane

Several airports are located in Belgium. Connections, flight frequency and fares will vary according to your departure city. The closest airports are:

Brussels Zaventem Airport

Connection to Gembloux is possible by train through Brussels-Airport-Zaventem station. At the Brussels airport, the train station is located below the terminal (level -1).

Brussels South Charleroi Airport

Connection to Gembloux is possible by shared shuttle via Door2Gate service (FliBco). Connection by public transportation is possible, here are two alternatives:

  1. From Charleroi airport to Charleroi central station through TEC bus line A1 then by train to Namur station then take the correspondance to Gembloux station.
  2. From Charleroi airport to Fleurus station through TEC bus line A2 then by train to Ottignies station then take the correspondance to Gembloux station.

By public transport (train/bus)

The Belgian rail company (SNCB/NMBS) provides both national and international travel information (timetables, route planner, fees, ticket booking, etc.). We warmly recommend you to download the SNCB app to organise your travel and buy your ticket. This can also be done directly on their website.

Train schedule 

Bus transportation are provided by company LETEC. We recommande you to plan your trip through google maps and to buy your ticket directly in the bus. Additionnal information can be found in their website.

By car

The Espace Senghor is easily accessible by car thanks to its proximity with the E42 (Namur-Luxembourg) and E411 (Brussels-Namur) highways.

A free parking is accessible for all participants next to the auditorium :
